Treating a leprosy patient

Will you bring urgent medical care to India’s islanders?

India’s Sundarbans region is home to more than four million of the world’s poorest and most isolated people. Despite this swampy island stretch being the size of Yorkshire, there are no doctors' surgeries and it is almost impossible to get medical care.

When our outreach team found Mantu, he was suffering from a severe ulcer. Without urgent treatment, infection meant his wound was life-threatening. Heartbreakingly, there are so many more people like Mantu in desperate need of medical care.

Just £25 will deliver an ulcer care kit to a leprosy patient while £67 can bring a patient to hospital for a week’s inpatient care. A generous gift of £134 will guarantee a hospital bed for two weeks and specialist treatment for more severe cases like Mantu.

Please give today to provide emergency care and life-saving hospital treatment to India’s islanders.
