Will you give a child like Amelia a leprosy-free future?
For too long, leprosy has torn families apart. It has separated loved ones. It’s robbed children of a future free from disability and stigma. Children like 12-year-old Amelia.
Amelia has already faced so many challenges, including losing her father when she was very young. And now this: a leprosy diagnosis. During her treatment, Amelia has felt alone and isolated. She hasn’t been attending school.
But local Leprosy Changemaker Mario was there for Amelia. He showed her how to care for her clawed hands and reassured her that things will get better. Will you join him and show a child like Amelia your unconditional love today?
A gift from you of £24 will get the cure for leprosy to another child like Amelia, while a gift of £70 will train another volunteer like Mario to support others and help them overcome the disease.
What’s more, when you give before 24 April, the UK government will double your gift, meaning it will have twice the impact. Together, we can make leprosy a thing of the past in Mozambique.
